You might be wondering why I chose the name:

"La reine des carottes".

It’s a playful twist on my real last name – Rübenkönig,

which literally means “carrot king.”

Growing up, it always made me smile... and it reminded me

of the kids in Astrid Lindgren books

I loved as a child. It felt a bit magical. A bit odd.

A bit me.

And honestly–in a world full of Smiths, Millers, and Fischers,

I knew I had to write my own story with this name.

So I crowned myself queen.

But this name isn’t just a wink to the past. It’s a celebration of everything I love:

The unexpected.

The imperfect.

The royal, the handmade, the full-of-character.

I breathe new life into forgotten materials –oyster wood, wine barrel rings, and old bits of metal.

Each piece has a story, a soul, and a second chance.

Because life is more fun when your art makes you smile.
